Atze, Icke, Keule, Molle, Schrippe, Töle... BAS2 sucks up the Berlin street language like a sponge and shapes his messages out of it. He scrolls through an online dictionary for a good hour in search of original Berlin expressions. In addition, he mixes in Berlin originals: Didi Hallervorden, the hippopotamus Knautschke that survived the World War from the zoo, Hertha. In the midst towers the name of his crew Ghettostars or GHS.

Twelve sprayers belong to it, are partly illegally at work on trains and walls. The group has existed for over 25 years. Beckert alias BAS2 was already active in the early 80s. He gives the young sprayers workshops, shares his knowledge with classes from all over the world. He earns his bread, among other things, with his second passion. In his shop in Friedrichshain he sells rare sneaker shoes.

The Ghettostars have committed themselves to the old school graffiti style. Ornate, fat blocked letter playfulness with their own name adorns the walls. In The Haus, an entire hallway on floor 2 had to be used for it. BAS2, veteran of the Berlin scene, immortalizes himself and his Berlin in color.
